Managing Depression With Exercise & Diet

by Adam

Merri, your article "Does Web MD truly help those with depression?" is great. I think there's a huge bias in society to medicate ourselves, not the least of which has to do with the pharmaceutical lobby (after all, selling medicine is a business).

As a child abuse survivor, I have been blessed not to suffer from manic depression, but have struggled with a moderate form of "normal" depression. As your article suggests, eating healthy has definitely helped, but so too has exercising regularly (as this article "One of the Best Free Natural Remedies for Depression That You Can Do In 10 Minutes Or Less" suggests). Yours is a great site with a great message. Sincerely, Adam

ANSWER:

Thanks Adam. You bet! Exercise is the most underrated cure. Here's my article on depression and exercise...

Blessings,

Merri Ellen
