"How Balance Can Cure Depression"

Did you know that WHAT you do affects HOW you think? If you live in a constant state of rush and panic, you contribute to your depression, burn out and negative self talk. That's why you NEED BALANCE to cure depression.

If you don't keep a journal, start now!

In our handbook I explained how crucial keeping a journal is for beating depression. Negative self talk is a brutal killer because it's a feeder of depression. Your negative self talk paraliyzes any good intentions you may have. Keeping a journal helps to realign your self talk and realign and prioritize your activities.

If you are doing too many things, it's time for rest and recharging in order to recover.

If you have too much time on your hands, it's time to engage in a few meaningful and uplifting activities in your life.

Both will require you to take action! Don't try to do too many things at once. One step at a time. One day at a time.

Achieving a balance of rest and meaningful activity will help you to cure your depression.

Now pick up a journal and start writing even just a little each day. What to write? A wonderful friend 13 years ago gave me this advice: Write down 3 things you are thankful for every day. Start with that.

Also turn to the chapter on positive thinking in my handbook for more amazingly powerful journaling steps and start your journey toward joy!

There is hope! You are worth it!
