"NEW Study! Increase Serotonin to Beat Depression"

Ever get grumpy or cranky when you're hungry? Of course! Who hasn't?! This has to do with your serotonin levels.

Another recent study confirms our tips found in our handbook...

“Changes in diet and stress cause our serotonin levels to fluctuate naturally, so it’s important to understand how this might affect our everyday decision-making.” - PhD student Molly Crockett, a Gates Scholar at the University of Cambridge Behavioral and Clinical Neuroscience Institute

When I'm in the dumps, I have found myself to crave chocolate! In fact, immediately after giving birth to my 2nd child, I asked my husband to get me some chocolate! I have pictures of me in the hospital 2 minutes after delivery enjoying chocolate! :)

Why did I crave chocolate?

Chocolate contains tryptophan, which is a chemical that the brain uses to make serotonin. High levels of serotonin can make us feel really good.
