"The Most Effective Depression Cure?"

By far the most effective depression cure is a collection of practical steps that not only helped me but have been researched and reported in the medical journals. Here are a few of them…

Social support

When you feel depressed, your tendency is to isolate yourself and stay home when people invite you places. For example, just the other day, my husband and I were invited to a reception and I was tired from a long week and felt almost like staying home. Anyways, we went and I am so glad we did. Family and friends were there and soon it was time to go and it felt like we could have stayed longer. (Granted, there is a time to say 'no' but the trick is to know when to say 'yes' as well as 'no'.)

The key is to surround yourself with friends and family who are encouraging, joyful and unselfish. This can be hard for some of us. So, be careful who you spend your time with when you’re dealing with depression.

Careful choice of your social support is one of the best natural cures for depression. This also includes choosing a good counselor and doctor and possibly support group. I talk about this more in my handbook.

Omega 3s

You’ve heard me say it before and I’ll say it again. Your depression cure plan should contain this essential ingredient for mental health. The research on it is amazing. Learn more from our free e-course on natural cures for depression.

Sleep

If you are a workaholic you most likely go to bed late and get up early to start the day all over again. Or maybe you work the night shift. Or maybe you are a single mom trying to pay the bills and get the kids to school, etc. Our society is sleep deprived and so one of the best ways to implement a depression cure is to make sure you are getting enough sleep.

The key is to look at your to do list or areas of responsibility and cut out the unnecessary things. You can do this!

A great book to read is, “First Things First” or “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey. You can listen to these on your music player or in your car on your way to work or on a walk. Since we’re talking about sleep, get into bed early and listen to the books or read the books until you fall asleep! Reading before bed is a great way to wind down. Try it!

Diet and Exercise

I’m sure you’ve heard me say this before! What you eat and what you do with your body is probably the most underrated depression cure. Together diet and exercise are powerful natural cures for depression that have been proven more powerful than any antidepressant.

To learn some specifics on this and to learn 3 more practical steps, request our free e-course or go straight to the goods and request a copy of our complete handbook to start implementing our life changing research in 3 minutes.

There is hope! You are worth it!
